Starting this season, a road win is supposed to mean more come March.

In July, the NCAA announced neutral-site and road results will get a boost on the team sheets used by NCAA Tournament selection committee members.

In essence, a road win against a top-75 RPI team would be equivalent to a home win versus a top-30 foe; a road win against a team ranked 76-135 would be equivalent to a home win versus a team ranked 31-75; and a road win against a team ranked 136-240 would be equivalent to a home win versus a team between 76-160 in the RPI.
