Nevada basketball: Wolf Pack begins 'key stretch' of 3 games in 6 days

The stopping and starting has made the last few weeks seem like a game of red light-green light for the Nevada basketball team.

That light is now — fingers crossed — a solid green.

The Wolf Pack is scheduled for three games in six days, beginning Wednesday against Boise State at Lawlor Events Center. For Nevada, which has had six of its last 10 scheduled games either postponed or canceled, the opportunity to play again for the first time since Jan. 1 is a welcome development.

“We always talk about one game at a time, but this is a key stretch for us early in the season,” Nevada head coach Steve Alford said Tuesday.
