For those who can’t wait until November, the much-anticipated 2018-19 Nevada basketball season will actually begin a month earlier – although the games won’t count in any standings.
The Wolf Pack will play two October exhibition games in Reno, the school announced Friday. Nevada will host Washington on Oct. 21 at Lawlor Events Center, then play San Francisco State on Oct. 26 at the Virginia Street Gym.
The Washington game will be an all-general admission night, with proceeds going to victims of the Carr Fire. The game at the Virginia Street Gym will be the Wolf Pack’s second “throwback” game, with Nevada wearing a uniform design from the past.
