Wednesday, May 25 update: Former guard Grant Sherfield, the last remaining player from the 2021-22 Pack team in the transfer portal, confirmed May 25 his commitment to Oklahoma.
Stadium college basketball writer Jeff Goodman first reported the news Tuesday night.
Sherfield led Nevada in scoring and assists, along with getting the most playing time (35.7 mpg) and running the offense on every possession. He also put his name for considering into the NBA draft, but chose to opt out to transfer to the Sooners, thus preserving his two remaining years of college eligibility.
