For the first time since 2007, the Wolf Pack basketball team is nationally ranked, although it will have to navigate two tough tests this week to keep that distinction.

Nevada, which at 8-0 is one of the nation's 13 undefeated teams, debuted in this season's national rankings Monday by placing 22nd in the AP Top 25.

This marks the 35th time the Wolf Pack has been ranked in the AP Top 25, with the previous 34 occurrences happening between 2004-07 when Nevada made three straight NCAA tournaments.
