Despite winning twice last week, and possessing a nine-game winning streak overall, the Nevada basketball team dropped one spot in the AP Top 25 national poll.
The Pack (23-1) came in at No. 7 in Monday's poll, switching spots with Michigan. Nevada tallied 1,230 points from the media panel, 23 fewer than the Wolverines.
No. 1 Tennessee (22-1) and second-ranked Duke retained their positions at the top of the poll. Gonzaga and Virginia switched places for the third and fourth spots, and Kentucky was No. 5.
No. 8 North Carolina, Houston, and Marquette rounded out the top 10.
