A big home series for the Wolf Pack baseball team will now be played in an even bigger setting.
Nevada, in conjunction with the Reno Aces, announced Monday it will play three-time national champion Oregon State at Greater Nevada Field in downtown Reno, rather than the Wolf Pack’s usual home site of Peccole Park.
The two-game series is set for March 29 (5 p.m.) and March 30 (noon).
The Wolf Pack has opened the 2022 season at 3-4, playing all its games on the road against a mix of Western opponents, including teams from the Pac-12 (Arizona State), Big West (UCSB) and WAC (Grand Canyon).
