Streak? What streak?
Nevada, playing its most complete game under head coach Jay Norvell, stunned Boise State, 41-31, on Saturday afternoon at Albertsons Stadium in its Mountain West opener.
It was just the third win ever for a Wolf Pack team in Boise, and the first since 1997. The Broncos had also won 16 of the previous 17 games in the series, including six in a row.
The win improved Nevada to 3-1 overall and 1-0 in Mountain West games. Boise State dropped to 2-3, 1-1.
The Broncos had won 20 straight regular-season Mountain West games.
