* Texas: Texas didn’t creep onto my ballot, not with a 2-4 record, but no team had a bigger win this week than Texas, which beat Oklahoma 24-17 in the Red River Shootout. Texas was a 17-point underdog and Charlie Strong was under fire, but this win in the big rivalry series will keep him cool for a while.
