PULLMAN, Wash. – When the Wolf Pack coaches looked across the sideline Saturday at Martin Stadium, they saw the kind of team they want to become in time – a potent Air Raid offense, a versatile and attacking defense, a program full of aggressive athletes, with each of those elements on display from Washington State.

But, after Nevada’s 45-7 loss to No. 18 Washington State before 30,317 fans – the Wolf Pack's most lopsided since a 62-7 defeat to Florida State in 2013 – Nevada is faced with a more immediate question: What kind of team can Nevada be this season?
