The college football season is nearing, with the unofficial start of the season for the Mountain West being marked this week as the conference holds its annual media days in Las Vegas starting Tuesday.
As one of the voters in the preseason poll, I went chalk up top with my picks, selecting Boise State and San Diego State to win their divisions (although Boise State hasn’t been too “chalk” of late as it hasn’t reached the MW title game since 2014 and has done so only once since the game was created in 2013).
