Men’s golf: Nevada falls to 11th at Fighting Irish Golf Classic

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The Nevada men’s golf team combined for a team score of 294 and are in 11th place heading into Tuesday’s final round at the Fighting Irish Golf Classic.

The Wolf Pack began the second round Monday in 10th and climbed a couple of spots near the middle of the round, but struggled on the front side on Monday. UTEP leads the field of 15 at even par through two rounds. The Miners lead Illinois State and Notre Dame by eight shots and are the only team not above par.

Nevada sophomore Travis Fredborg was leading the Pack through the morning session and played the back nine at 2-under par.
