The City of Reno will be run by an 8-year-old on Wednesday.
Mariah Musselman, who became a national star during the Nevada basketball team's run to the Sweet 16 last month, will be recognized by the city on Wednesday. Reno will recognize her "as the Biggest Little Mascot and Mayor for the Day for her endearing support of the Nevada Men's Basketball Team during the NCAA Tournament."
Mariah, a second-grader, blew up during the Wolf Pack's first NCAA Tournament game, a comeback win over Texas, when she was interviewed during the contest.
