* WR Rishard Matthews, Titans: In a 24-17 loss to Indianapolis, Matthews caught nine passes (on 13 targets) for 122 yards, which were both season highs. The 122 yards were a career high and his fourth 100-yard game in five seasons in the NFL. Matthews’ 65 catches this season also are a career high. His 605 yards are 57 shy of a career best.
* QB Colin Kaepernick, 49ers: In a 30-17 loss to New England, Kaepernick completed 16-of-30 passes for 206 yards and two touchdowns in a steady downpour.
