Nevada's Eric Musselman is looking for a new assistant coach – again.
Wolf Pack associate head coach Johnny Jones has agreed to become Texas Southern's head coach. He replaces Mike Davis, who accepted the top job at Detroit Mercy earlier this month.
“It’s a job that is at the top of the conference," Jones told the RGJ. "They have tremendous administration and great tradition. Coach Davis has done a tremendous job here over the years and has left the program in good shape and it’s very difficult to find jobs of that magnitude in our business. I’m certainly looking forward to accepting the reigns and taking on the challenge.
