The Nevada basketball team, 7-0 and ranked No. 5 in the nation, continues its series of road challenges with a Saturday game at USC and a Dec. 7 game against Arizona State. Both will be played in Los Angeles.
The Wolf Pack is coming off a convincing 79-65 win at Loyola Chicago in its first true road game of the season.
“I thought we played phenomenal in Vegas (the Las Vegas Holiday Invitational),” Nevada head coach Eric Musselman said Thursday. “And then to go to an environment at Loyola with a packed house and a team that was in the Final Four last year, with a lot of returning players … I thought our UMass game and our Loyola game was good as we’ve played since I’ve been here, from an offensive standpoint.
