When a national program from a non-power conference – Wichita State – went looking for a new league last offseason, the Mountain West didn’t show heavy interest, so the Shockers landed instead in the American Athletic Conference.
The same thing could be happening this offseason – only this time with Gonzaga – and the MW is much more eager to poach.
