An indoor practice facility for Nevada athletics is still years in the future, if it happens at all, but the latest vision for a multimillion-dollar project is beginning to take shape.
University of Nevada, Reno officials and members of two architectural firms unveiled details for a “University Fieldhouse” building during an open forum discussion in late April.
The facility would be multi-purpose in nature and serve as an indoor practice spot for Wolf Pack sports teams — including football — along with being a home for Nevada club sports, intramurals and the student and faculty population at large.
