The Wolf Pack players heard those three dreaded words after Tuesday’s practice: mandatory ice bath.
“I hate ice,” senior Tyron Criswell said. “I hate ice baths.”
“I’m not a big fan of ice baths,” freshman Cameron Oliver echoed.
But with the Wolf Pack facing a quick turnaround as it prepares to face Vermont in a semifinal of the CBI at 7 p.m. Wednesday, the ice wasn’t optional. Nevada’s players had to take the cold plunge to try and rejuvenate their bodies.
“When you’re in them for more than five minutes it starts to feel good,” Criswell conceded.
