Paea Moala made sure his trip home was a triumphant one.
Moala, who played football at Hug, graduating in 2015, plays linebacker and special teams for Idaho State. The Bengals raced out past Nevada to grab a big lead, then held on for a 30-28 win Saturday at Mackay Stadium.
Moala had numerous friends and family in the stands and waiting for him after the game.
“It felt good, it felt really good, to be home, playing in front of the home crowd,” Moala said. “Especially since I balled out, it felt even better, just put the cherry on top.
