The Wolf Pack basketball team has one open scholarship for next season and has found the guy they want to give it to.
Pancake Thomas, a 6-foot-3, 195-pound guard who played at Hofstra last season, took an official visit to Nevada's campus Tuesday. Thomas averaged 18.9 points, 6.4 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game last season. He shot 43.7 percent from the field, including 42.6 percent from three and was named second-team All-America East.
Thomas began his career at New Mexico but played sparingly during his first two seasons. He transferred to Hofstra prior to the 2014-15 season and had to sit out under NCAA rules before his breakout campaign last season.
