Grades from Nevada’s 35-21 win over Hawaii on Saturday.

Offense

A-My post-game column off the Fresno State game targeted the offensive issues in 2017, but that unit turned the tide in the win over Hawaii. Kelton Moore rushed for 216 yards on 19 carries, Ty Gangi completed 78.1 percent of his passes and accounted for five touchdowns (four pass, one run) and Nevada tallied its most total yards (566) in four seasons. Nevada averaged 7.1 yards per run and 9.3 yards per pass attempt, both excellent numbers. The team had great balance, rushing for 268 yards and throwing for 298 yards, and maintained the ball for nearly 31 minutes, which had been an issue through the first five games.
