HONOLULU – Grades from Nevada’s 38-17 loss to Hawaii on Saturday.

Offense

D — The final numbers – 17 points, 397 yards, 23 first downs – look better than the Nevada offense actually played. The Pack had just three points through three quarters against a team that ranked third-to-last in the nation in scoring defense entering the game. Nevada picked up 14 points and 158 yards in the fourth quarter after Hawaii had a 35-point lead. RB James Butler ran the ball hard – 21 carries for 168 yards, many coming after being hit – but not much else went well.
