Grades: Coaches had Wolf Pack prepped well for upset

EVANSTON, Ill. – Grades from Nevada’s 31-20 loss to Northwestern on Saturday.

Offense

C+ — The Wolf Pack debuted its Air Raid scheme and left a lot of points on the field. Nevada ran the ball well, carrying it 26 times for 142 yards (5.5 yards per attempt) and QB Ty Gangi hit on some big plays but he also overthrew a couple of deep balls that could have been game-changers. Gangi finished 16-of-37 for 199 yards with two touchdowns and one interception. His pick was crucial as Nevada was heading into the red zone.
