Freshly minted as ranked team, Nevada basketball faces first underdog challenge

The Wolf Pack basketball team enters its next game ranked for the first time in 11 years, but is also does so as an underdog for the first time this season.

Boasting some national recognition, No. 22/24-ranked Nevada is on the road again Tuesday when it plays at Texas Tech, which also has spent some time in the Top 25.

“They’re a great team and to play on their floor will be not a little challenge, but a huge challenge,” Wolf Pack coach Eric Musselman said.
