Fox revels in Wolf Pack honor

Mark Fox doesn’t look at his induction into the Nevada Athletic Hall of Fame as a reunion.

Fox, the Wolf Pack men’s basketball coach from 2004-09, enjoys staying in contact with many of his former players and fellow coaches.

Fox, along with five athletes, and the first NCAA Sweet Sixteen men’s basketball team in school history, were honored at halftime of the Buffalo-Nevada football game Saturday night.

“It was honor for them to call me and for them to do this, to recognize my time here,” Fox said. “I loved living in Reno and there are so many people in that community who I’ve stayed close to.
