Ex-Pack player Criswell arrested on DUI charge

Former Wolf Pack basketball player Tyron Criswell was arrested early Saturday morning and charged with DUI.

Criswell, who was the MVP of Nevada's victory in the College Basketball Invitation in April, was arrested at 1:51 a.m. Saturday and booked with a $2,000 bail.

As a senior last season, Criswell averaged 13.3 points and 6.2 rebounds per game. He was named the Mountain West's sixth man of the year by the league's media. He recently had a tryout with the Reno Bighorns of the NBA Development League.

As of Sunday morning, he was still in custody, according to the Washoe County Sheriff's Office website.
