The Wolf Pack football team will have its share of the spotlight on national television.
Eight of Nevada's 12 games have been selected for national television this fall, the Mountain West announced.
The Wolf Pack, which returns 15 starters from last year’s 7-6 team, which won the Arizona Bowl, was selected for seven national TV games as part of the MW's package revealed Friday. Nevada also will play on national TV when it travels to Notre Dame for a non-conference game in September.
“The exposure that we get from playing on national television is important for the continued growth of Nevada football, and I’m excited that we have eight opportunities so far this season to showcase our program,” fourth-year head coach Brian Polian said in a news release.
