In one respect for Nick Rolovich, Saturday’s game was like all the others when he was an assistant for the Nevada football team.
He stood on the same sideline as he did for four years when he was with Nevada. He was Nevada's offensive coordinator from 2012-15.
Nevada has since switched sidelines and is now on the west side of Mackay Stadium.
It was a disappointing night for Hawaii and Rolovich on his return to Reno as the Wolf Pack picked up its first win of the season 35-21, in a game that ended late Saturday night.
