Coming off second loss, Wolf Pack faces Fresno State's long-range attack

When the Nevada basketball team lost for the first time in January, it responded with 10 straight wins.

Now, following its second loss, it would only need half that many to clinch an unprecedented third straight Mountain West regular-season title.

The Wolf Pack (24-2 overall, 12-2 Mountain West) begins the stretch run to its season Saturday against Fresno State. Of Nevada’s five remaining games, four are against the top teams in the Mountain West standings.
