The Wolf Pack basketball team doesn’t get many chances to beat Top 25-caliber teams, so letting that opportunity slip away late in an overtime loss at Texas Tech on Tuesday was especially heartbreaking.
But, the good news for Nevada is it doesn't have to wait too long for another crack at a Top 25 win. The No. 22 Wolf Pack will play No 20 TCU in the Naismith Hall of Fame Classic on Friday in the Staples Center, which also will serve as Nevada’s last chance to get a major résumé-building non-conference win.
