It was a wire-to-wire victory last night for the Nevada Basketball team after routing the Bradley Braves (4-4, 0-0 MVC) 91-69. The Wolf Pack (7-2, 0-0 MWC) never trailed in the game and held the Braves to 26 points, tied for the lowest an opponent has scored in the first half. In addition, the Wolf Pack’s 91 points ties its season-high in scoring.
The Wolf Pack started the game firing on all cylinders en route to an early 12-2 run to force the Braves to shed an early timeout. Jordan Caroline, the Champaign Illinois native who had 36 of his family and friends in attendance for the game, sparked the early run by scoring five of Nevada’s first 12 points and also had an assist and a steal in the early goings.
