Basketball: Nevada women lose to Texas Tech

Nevada senior Terae Briggs recorded her fourth double-double of the season Saturday, but the Nevada women’s basketball team lost to Texas Tech, 86-67.

For Briggs, her 18-point, 13-rebound performance marked her third consecutive double-double, leading the Wolf Pack (2-7) in both categories. She finished 5-of-10 from the field and hitt 8-of-8 from the free throw line. She also added three steals, two blocks and a career-high six assists in 37 minutes.

The Pack had three others reach double figures in the game as junior Camariah King scored 13 and freshmen Amaya West and Da’Ja Hamilton each contributed 12, a career high for Hamilton.
