Baseball: Wolf Pack wins to stay alive for MW title

The Nevada baseball team rallied for a series victory at New Mexico, posting a 13-9 victory Sunday in Albuquerque.

The Wolf Pack improved to 30-21 overall and is now tied with the Lobos for second place in the Mountain West standings with an 18-9 record.

Nevada can win a share of the Mountain West regular-season title if it sweeps UNLV this week at Peccole Park. League-leading Fresno State has finished its MW play at 21-9.

On Sunday, the Pack had 18 hits in winning for the 13th time in its last 14 games. Miles Mastrobuoni went 3-of-5 with three RBIs, two doubles and two runs to lead Nevada at the plate.
