Coming off a Mountain West championship in 2021, the Nevada baseball team is an early favorite to repeat this season.
The Wolf Pack finished on top of the MW’s preseason coaches’ poll, picking up six of the seven first-place votes and finishing with 36 points. Rival UNLV was second in the poll, totaling 29 points.

Also for Nevada, Tyler Bosetti, Dario Gomez, Cam Walty, and Joshua Zamora were named to the preseason All-Mountain West team. The Pack’s four players were the most for any team on the All-MW team.
