The Nevada baseball team scored two runs in the first inning but was held scoreless from then on, suffering a 7-2 loss to Sacramento State on Tuesday night at Peccole Park.
The Hornets (19-13) scored the game’s final six runs to down Nevada, who falls to 15-15 on the season. Junior Miles Mastrobuoni went 2-of-4 with an RBI and one run while sophomore Cole Krzmarzick added two hits to lead the Wolf Pack.
After allowing one run in the top of the first, Nevada opened its half of the inning with two runs on three hits to take a 2-1 lead.
