The Wolf Pack baseball team lost its final non-conference game of the season, falling 11-3 on Tuesday at No. 18 UCLA.
Now comes the waiting.
Nevada dropped to 21-18 overall with the loss, but the Pack has bigger things in sight. Its remaining four games of the regular season are a potential Mountain West title-winning series against San Jose State.
The Wolf Pack will have nine days between games before it finally takes the field against the Spartans from May 28-30 at Peccole Park. The teams will play single games Friday and Sunday, along with a Saturday double-header.
