Air Force at Nevada: Pack faces nation's best rushing attack — 'like going to the dentist'

The records are identical. The teams certainly are not.

Air Force and Nevada — both 7-3 overall and 4-2 in Mountain West games — will attempt to keep their divisional title hopes alive when they meet under the Friday night lights at Mackay Stadium (6 p.m.; FS1). It will be the Wolf Pack’s final home game of the season.

The visiting Falcons feature the nation’s top rushing attack, averaging 310.3 yards per game. Air Force, out of its patented triple-option attack, has a 1,000-yard rusher — junior Brad Roberts — a quarterback averaging 4.8 yards per attempt, and has scored 31 rushing touchdowns in its 10 games.
