T Moe, the Wolf Pack’s point guard and leader, had just torn her ACL for the third time in four seasons, once in her left knee and twice in her right knee. She was on crutches – again. She couldn’t walk – again.
After her first two major knee operations, Moe had no doubt she would return to the game she had played since she could walk. But after the third one, which occurred in a team scrimmage before the season even began, she was contemplating giving it all up.
