If you drove from Reno to Nashville, it’d take you about 31 hours, but the Nevada basketball team drawing the Music City as the site of its NCAA Tournament game Friday was – well – music to the ears of a number of Wolf Pack players.
The parents of Caleb and Cody Martin, Jordan Caroline and Kendall Stephens – four-sevenths of the team’s available scholarship players – all live within a six-hour drive of Nashville, making this a homecoming of sorts for those players as Nevada didn’t play further West than Texas this season.
