NASHVILLE – About the only thing missing was an anvil falling onto the Nevada sideline during the second half Saturday at Vanderbilt.
With seemingly nothing going right for the Wolf Pack after halftime, Vanderbilt was able to turn a 17-10 advantage after two quarters into a 41-10 demolition after four. The result extended Nevada’s misery on the road, where it has lost seven straight games and 13 of its last 14.
Vanderbilt improved to 2-0 with its second straight big win. Nevada dropped to 1-1.
“(I’m) disappointed; not discouraged,” Nevada head coach Jay Norvell said. “Excited to get back and watch the film and learn from these mistakes.
