A different feel as Nevada football team returns to site of previous bowl game

The venue is familiar, but this season's bowl game for the Nevada football team will have a different feel than the previous bowl it played in last January.

The Wolf Pack will play Tulane in the Idaho Potato Bowl, it was announced Sunday. Nevada played in the game at the end of last season, losing to Ohio.

The Pack (6-2 overall and Mountain West) and the Green Wave (6-5 overall, 3-5 American) will play at Albertsons Stadium in Boise on Dec. 22 (12:30 p.m.). Due to COVID-19 restrictions, no fans will be in attendance.

Last year, the Wolf Pack had almost a month after the regular season ended to prepare for the bowl game.
