1Q: Nevada 7, Fresno State 6: Follow live

First quarter

The Wolf Pack opened with the ball and was forced to punt after picking up one first down. Fresno State quickly drove into Wolf Pack territory on its first possession before stalling prior to the red zone, with Kody Kroening punching through a 44-yard field goal for a 3-0 Bulldogs’ lead. After Nevada converted a fourth-and-1 from the Fresno State 44, a trick play netted the Wolf Pack a score as WR Andrew Celis hit a wide open Wyatt Demps for a 36-yard touchdown pass to give Nevada a 7-3 lead. After K Brent Zuzo put the kickoff out of bounds, Fresno State started on the 35 and worked its way down the field for a first-and-goal from the 3-yard line but a false start moved the Bulldogs back and they settled for a 26-yard field goal by Kroening that bounced off both uprights to cut the Wolf Pack lead to 7-6.
