For the Huskers, it was a first round filled with ups and downs.
The Nebraska wrestling team sits in eight place after the first round of action with 11.5 points. Iowa leads the pack with 19 points, while Penn State sits in second with 17. Missouri has 14 points and is currently third, while NC State and Arizona State sit in a tie for fourth with 13 points.
The Huskers went 6-3 in the first round with some bonus-point victories but they also suffered a couple heart-breaking defeats.
