Freshman Jessica Shepard had another monster game with 35 points and 20 rebounds, and Kyndal Clark made five three-pointers to lead the Nebraska women’s basketball team to a 93-81 win against Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan, on Sunday.
Nebraska got two road wins on the week and has won five straight to move back into the top half of the Big Ten Conference standings.
Shepard has scored at least 20 points in five straight games. Her 35 points tied a career high, and her 20 rebounds the most by a Husker since 1999.
Nebraska needed a good team effort, because senior point guard Rachel Theriot did not play because of a foot injury.
