The Nebraska women’s basketball team will play its second and final exhibition game Sunday against Winona State at 2 p.m. at Pinnacle Bank Arena.
The NCAA Division II program from Winona, Minnesota, has a 3-0 regular-season record so far this season, after three wins at the CCA Division II Tip-Off Classic in California last week. The Warriors return four starters from a team that finished 20-8 last season.
Nebraska had an impressive 92-54 victory against Nebraska-Kearney in its first exhibition game. Four of NU's starters were playing their first game with the Huskers: graduate transfer Kyndal Clark and freshmen Jessica Shepard, Rachel Blackburn and Maddie Simon.
