Senior guard Kyndal Clark scored 17 points on five three-pointers, and freshman Jessica Shepard added 18 points to help lead the Nebraska women’s basketball team to an 85-40 win against Evansville on Tuesday at Pinnacle Bank Arena.
Clark has struggled on three-pointers, with just four through seven games this season.
That didn’t show when Clark went off in the third quarter, making three three-pointers in about three minutes for a 66-27 lead.
Rachel Theriot didn’t score but had nine assists. Allie Havers added 14 points and 12 rebounds for the Huskers (7-1).
In the Huskers’ previous game, Nebraska rallied from a 21-point deficit for a thrilling 65-63 win against Creighton.
