Women's basketball: Clark happy to be playing, confident shooting will improve

The scoring hasn’t come as easy as Kyndal Clark would like to start her only season with the Nebraska women’s basketball team.

That she's getting a chance to play for the Huskers is a blessing, though. Clark suffered a season-ending knee injury in the first game of her senior season at Drake in 2014. As a junior the 5-foot-7 guard from Webb City, Missouri, was the Missouri Valley Conference player of the year when she averaged 19.3 points per game.

Clark graduated from Drake in May, and was able to join the Huskers and play immediately this season.
