With outright title on the line, Husker women gymnasts look to springboard into postseason

There's still a month left in the season, but the Nebraska women's gymnastics team is staring down one of its preseason team goals.

"We want this outright and they've worked hard for it and we're going to go get it," Nebraska head coach Dan Kendig said of the Big Ten regular-season title.

Heading into Saturday's B1G Five Meet in East Lansing, Michigan, the Huskers (11-3, 5-0 Big Ten) are in the catbird seat for their first outright regular-season title since joining the conference and first since the Big Ten started crowning regular-season conference champions in 2013.

Nebraska has shared the regular-season title twice: In 2014 with Minnesota and last year with Michigan.
