Wild final stretch sets up Big Ten baseball tournament in Omaha

The chaotic jockeying for position is over in Big Ten baseball, with Saturday's final games of the regular season capping an eventful last few days.

Nebraska, which had hopes of getting the top seed if it swept Michigan, lost to the Wolverines in the early-morning hours of the series finale Saturday at Haymarket Park and tumbled all the way to the fifth seed for the conference tournament, which starts Wednesday at Omaha's TD Ameritrade Park.
